Moldavite is one of the most precious and rare gem crystals. It is a meteoric debris crystal, the product of a meteor collision with the Earth some 15 million years ago. It fell in an area covering some 500 square kilometers of the Moldau River Valley in the Czech Republic. Moldavite is one of the most rare minerals. It has been prized for thousands of years and has long been the gift often chosen by European royalty as personal gifts for their relatives. Moldavite is believed by many to have been the green stone in the Holy Grail, and at least one legend has the Grail carved entirely from moldavite. Nearly everyone is able to feel the energy of moldavite. Many feel heat, a tingling or pulsing sensation, or pressure. Many feel a rush of energy. Moldavite is said to enhance psychic abilities. It is a powerful chakra opener and balancer. Also, as a star born gem crystal, Moldavite is the logical alternative for Mercury's emerald. It is far less expensive and seems more than appropriate given its origin.

that have been plated with 2.5 microns of 24kt gold. This

a thick plate which wears extremely well and costs far less than solid
14kt gold.

moww1a - This is a beautiful natural Moldavite nodule set as a pendant in 14kt gold filled wire. This nodule is exactly as it came from the meteor debris field with the exception of having been washed. The Moldavite piece measures 36x12 mm and the pendant measures 55x19mm. This pendant was made by me in my shop and has not been touched by anyone else. - $45
